ProSiebenSat.1 News Studio

The new ProSiebenSat.1 news studio in Unterföhring, Munich, features a suspended Blackcam B60 camera system with a long tower, collision protection, and a combination of curved and straight rails surrounding the set.

It also includes two RP1 Pedestals with dual monitors, collision protection, and ARRI master grips for manual control. Blackcam Robotics provided the complete rigging and cable management, ensuring a streamlined production environment.

Chief editor Sven Pietsch highlighted the studio’s collaborative design, enhancing content delivery across platforms.

ORF, Studio 21

Studio 21 at ORF is equipped with advanced technology, featuring a suspended B60 camera system on a 12-meter straight rail, a hanging L2 unit, and a remote head. Blackcam Robotics provided the cable management, rigging, and truss system, as well as custom brackets for secure mounting on ceiling beams. Although the studio has integrated tracking and augmented reality (AR) capabilities via Vizrt, the AR functionality is not yet active.

Al-Arabiya Dubai Newsroom

The Al-Arabiya Dubai Newsroom features a fixed installation of our B40 system, mounted on over 28 meters of curved tracks, to deliver dynamic, sweeping panorama views. This cutting-edge setup enhances the studio environment for Saudi television’s Al-Arabiya news broadcasts based in Dubai. Blackcam Robotics provided complete system integration, ensuring smooth operation and precision with a suspended rail system, offering unparalleled camera flexibility for a modern and visually striking newsroom.

Alaraby TV News Studio

Alaraby TV News Studio is furnished with a suspended B60 camera system on a 52-meter circular rail, a custom hanging lift, and a remote head. Blackcam Robotics also supplied the cable management system to ensure a well-organized studio environment.

Alaraby TV Morning Studio

The Alaraby TV Morning Studio is equipped with a suspended B60 camera system on a 24-meter rail, a hanging L2 unit, and a remote head. Blackcam Robotics also provided the cable management solution to maintain an organized and efficient studio setup.

RBB Berlin, CNC

The RBB Berlin CNC studio features a B80 low-floor studio system, a 9-meter L-shaped floor-embedded rail with a curved section, an L2 unit, and a remote head. The cable and signal connections are fully integrated within the rail, which has a height of just 35mm. 

RTL Cologne, Studio 1

RTL Cologne’s Studio 1 is outfitted with a suspended B40 camera system, a total of 34 meters of rail with two curved sections and two different radii, as well as a remote head. Blackcam Robotics provided the full rigging solution, including 3D measurements, planning, custom truss with specially fabricated curve pieces, additional ceiling beams, and welded custom wall mounts. The studio also features a wireless system with an automatic charging station located in the middle of the rail, with charging contacts that automatically extend and retract.

SWR Stuttgart Studio C

SWR Stuttgart Studio C features three B60 camera systems, each equipped with an L1.5 and a remote head, all mounted on a 10-meter curved rail. The cable management for all three dollies is handled using horizontal energy chains within the rail system. The studio is also equipped with tracking and a complete Vizrt virtual studio solution.
